Botox is a medication that temporarily smooths the appearance of wrinkles and lines thereby allowing the skin to appear more smooth and rejuvenated.  It is injected into the intended facial muscles with a very small needle.  The actual procedure itself takes about 15 minutes (excluding consultation) and is often referred to as a “lunch time procedure” given the quick nature of the appointment and lack of any significant downtime.
